What should I wear for my physiotherapy appointment?
Wear loose fitting and comfortable clothing that allows us to assess the injured area. Please bear in mind that we will be assessing you through movement and treating you with exercise.

Do I have to be a member at Castle Country Club to book an appointment?
No. We are happy to treat anyone at Total Physio Clinic whether you are a member at Castle Country Club or not. This includes access to the facilities during the appointment.

How long will each session last?
Your first appointment will take around 45-60 minutes in order for us to gather a good history from you and assess you thoroughly. Follow up appointments typically take 20-30 minutes.

What can I expect in my first consultation?
Your first appointment is all about us listening to you and taking a detailed history around your problem. From here we will complete a thorough physical assessment which will be specific to you and your current issue. We will then discuss the cause of your symptoms and create a plan of how we can get you to where you want to be.

How many sessions will I need?
This is all dependant on you and your problem. Our aim is to get you to where you want to be in as few sessions as possible. For some people this will only need one session. For others you may choose to have ongoing treatment for a number of weeks or months. Ideally we want to give you the tools to self-manage your own injury.

Where do I go when I get to Castle Country Club?
Once you arrive at Castle Country Club, head to the main entrance. A member of the Castle Country Club team will be at the front desk and if you inform them that you have arrived for your physiotherapy appointment they will let us know. We will come and collect you from the waiting area and bring you down to the treatment rooms.

Do you accept patients with private health insurance?
Unfortunately we cannot accept customers who are hoping to pay through private health insurance
